With millions of members across the country, Anthem Blue Cross is a major player in the health insurance industry.

ANTHEM BLUE CROSS BRAND TRANSITION
When Empire was transitioning to Anthem in New York, it was all hands on deck. My contribution was to rewrite the entirety of the Medicaid website in order to make it easier to read and follow. In addition to the website copy changing, the format of the site would be changing as well. Cue expert UX copywriting skills.
WELLPOINT
At Wellpoint, your whole health is their whole point. Formerly known as Amerigroup in many states, this brand is an affiliate of Elevance Health.

WELLPOINT BRAND TRANSITIONS
In the past couple years, I've been involved in helping to transition a variety of health insurance brands to Wellpoint in multiple states.
I helped to (re)launch the Amerigroup DC brand in 2023, but then the need came to rebrand to Wellpoint DC in 2025. I rewrote every page of copy on the Wellpoint DC Medicaid website. I've also witten copy for Wellpoint brand transitions in Texas, Iowa, Washington, Tennessee, and Florida.
FLU SHOT POSTCARDS
Twice a year, there's always a big push to remind members to get their flu shots. This postcard was part of that campaign.


ER REDIRECTION POSTCARDS
Too many members use the emergency room (ER) as their go-to when they need non-emergency medical services. This postcard was part of an ongoing campaign to remind members that urgent care and virtual care are much better options to help them to save both time and money.


VALUE-ADDED BENEFITS FLYER
Wellpoint plans offer many extra benefits in addition to traditional healthcare coverage. This flyer was part of a campaign to help remind members about everything available to them, so they can live well.


ELIGIBILITY FLYER
Many parents with limited incomes may not be aware that their children are eligible for Medicaid coverage, which could save them a lot of money. This flyer was part of a campaign targeting both members and prospects to help them know the income guidelines for children's Medicaid plans.


HEALTHY REWARDS BROCHURE
Wellpoint rewards its members for going to their doctor appointments and staying healthy. This brochure lets them know more about the
Healthy Rewards Program, including how to qualify for and redeem their well-earned rewards..
